I am very concerned that impending workforce reductions at the Social Security Administration may cause 72.5 million Americans not to get the social security monthly benefit payments that they have earned, and depend on. Martin O’Malley, the former commissioner of the Social Security Administration (SSA), said Monday the recent cuts made by tech billionaire Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the agency could result in the “collapse” of the Social Security system “within the next 30 to 90 days.” Many people like me, rely on monthly benefit payments, that we paid in for when we were working. This is intolerable, and needs to be fixed! Thanks for all you do!
