In Canada, a 12-year-old's camera had been hacked by malicious actors using the cracks in vulnerable age verification software. The resulting exploitation hurts him and his family to this day. This is not an isolated incident. In Louisiana, people have been the victims of sexploitation, sextortion scams, fraud, non-consensual image sharing, hacking, identity theft and blackmail. This is an ongoing widespread issue. Please repeal age verification laws for the sake of families.
