To my elected representatives, I am writing to demand immediate legislative and oversight action to protect the unalienable and constitutional rights of citizens who advocate against war, and to hold accountable any public or private entity that attempts to suppress this vital expression. Freedom of speech and conscience are the cornerstones of American democracy. Forcing citizens into wars—whether through the mandatory allocation of taxpayer dollars or the risking of American lives—without the consent of the people, directly undermines our unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Speaking out against war, advocating for peace, and dissenting against military conflict are protected actions under the First Amendment. Any attempt by the Department of Justice (DOJ), political figures, or private and public corporations to threaten citizens legally, economically, or with brute force for engaging in anti-war activism is a severe violation of free speech. Such actions violate a compounding matrix of constitutional rights, including: • The First Amendment right to free speech, peaceful assembly, and petitioning the government for a redress of grievances. 
 • The Fourteenth Amendment right to due process and equal protection under the law. 
 • The fundamental unalienable rights inherent to all citizens. 
 When the Department of Justice weaponizes its authority or fails to protect citizens from corporate and political intimidation, it constitutes a clear dereliction of duty. The DOJ must be held to its oath to uphold the Constitution, not abuse its power to silence dissent. Therefore, I urge you to introduce and support measures that: 1 Establish a clear right of action for citizens to sue any political figure, corporate entity, or government agency that uses legal threats or force to suppress anti-war activism. 
 2 Launch a formal congressional investigation into the DOJ for any instances of targeting peaceful political activists.
 3 Reprimand and hold accountable any government official found complicit in violating citizens' unalienable rights to voice anti-war sentiments. 
 The weaponization of law and capital to force a populace into conflict is unconstitutional and un-American. I expect you to defend the rights of your constituents and ensure our voices cannot be silenced by intimidation.
