Today is Women’s Equality Day, a commemoration of the 19th Amendment that afforded women in the U.S. the right to vote and was certified on this day in 1920. It is disturbing that the current administration is actively working to disempower women. It is incumbent upon Congress to STAND UP for women’s rights and women’s equality.
