Work within your party to end this war before it spirals further. The U.S. struck first, killing over 150 schoolchildren in what gets called "preemptive strikes" — a polished term for choosing aggression over diplomacy. Iran's negotiators are now threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandab strait, oil prices are already spiking, and the president spent a weekend posting AI fantasy images of himself on Mount Rushmore instead of governing. This is not strength. It is chaos with a flag on it. Israel's ongoing strikes on Lebanon are not self-defense — they are an expansionist campaign, and the U.S. has the leverage and the obligation to say so plainly. Congress returns June 2 with the option to bring a war powers resolution to the floor. Use that moment. No country should be bombing its neighbors while diplomats are still at the table. If you hold Christian values, you know that bombing civilians is not a policy position that can be reconciled with them. Real leadership means demanding that all parties stop striking and return to negotiations — not enabling the next escalation.
