I am writing to ask that you use your influence as a moderate in the budget talks, and demand an appropriations bill that puts serious restrictions on ICE. You must insist on increased oversight of ICE and on requirements that agents have warrants, wear body cameras, are UNMASKED, have identification and stop using indiscriminate and often illegal force. In addition, funds for DHS must be withheld until the FBI and DOJ agree to cooperate fully with local Minnesota officials investigating the brutal murder of Renee Good. The budget is an area you HAVE SOME influence over - please use it to rein in the terror that’s taking over our country, and possibly soon even our beautiful state. Thank you.
