The Secretary of Homeland Security must be someone who inspires trust and confidence, not controversy. Ms. Noem’s record shows that she lacks the character and qualifications necessary to protect and serve the nation in this capacity. I urge you to oppose this nomination and instead support a candidate who exemplifies the integrity, competence, and nonpartisan leadership our country needs in this vital role.
