The senate has passed their version of the big beautiful bill act. This budget will devastate ordinary Americans who rely on Medicaid and Medicare as well as other essential services. It is a handout to billionaires and it is unconscionable that we would allow our fellow Americans to be treated this way. Representative Torres, I urge you to work ceaselessly with your colleagues on both sides of the aisle to ensure these cuts do not become law. We still have time to prevent this if we work together now. Please continue to defend Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and clean energy!
