Alligator Alcatraz, the inhumane immigrant detention center, must be shut down immediately. Its cruel and dehumanizing treatment of immigrants is a blatant violation of human rights, ethics, morality, and basic human decency. Diverting funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to finance this unacceptable operation is an egregious misuse of resources meant for emergency response and disaster relief. This facility's very existence is a stain on our nation's values. I urge you to take immediate action to close Alligator Alcatraz and uphold the fundamental rights and dignity of all people, regardless of immigration status. We cannot allow such atrocities to continue under the guise of enforcement. Shut this abhorrent operation down now.
