An Open Letter

To: Gov. Lee

From: A constituent in Memphis, TN

April 19

I am asking that you do not sign the bill SB 1413/HB 1376. Not only is cannabis much safer than the copious amounts of alcohol and pharmaceuticals out there, but it has proven benefits. The amount of money that the liquor and alcohol companies spent lobbying for this bills proves how much they are scared by the fact that their sales are suffering because people are choosing a safer way to either have recreational products or for actual medical benefits. Tennessee should not be sold out to pharmaceutical and liquors lobbyists. We deserve our own tax payer money over Missouri. As someone with Rheumatoid arthritis, I choose cannabis over some other pharmaceuticals for valid reasons. Tennessee continues to go backwards in supporting its own business owners including those that own the hemp farms right here in our own state…. I appreciate your consideration.
