DHS is delaying pre-approved payments to North Carolina for what reason? Politics This administration is clearly willing to use FEMA funds and other Congress-approved allocations of money as bargaining chips (blackmail) in Trump’s effort to secure universal power. I am more than distressed that Congress has not been willing to stand up for democracy and the ‘3 equal branches of government’ and force this administration to follow the law and serve every state and citizen. I understand that the GOP controls the House and Senate, but I would hope that at least a few of the GOP would ultimately side with their constituents instead of Trump.
