I encourage Congress to do all they can to investigate Donald Trump and his sycophants and allies by all means possible, up to - and including - impeachment. Though it appears that Democrats will reclaim Congress this mid-term, the greedy, narcissistic fool of a Florida Man still sits on the White House, along with his crony sycophants, and they will remain so for the next two years stealing and smashing anything they could grab. They will also look for ways to escape prosecution, on the assumption that there will be less impetus for investigation someone who cannot be tried and convicted. Disabuse them of this illusion. Investigate them. Summon them to Congressional hearings. Interrogate them and witnesses. Build cases against them, to (figuratively) hang them if legally possible and in the public opinion in regardless. Use the cases to purge the corruption they have allowed to fester and spread. Continue investigations past 2028 and beyond. If they wave their pardons, drag them inside anyway; nothing says that pardons protect against *investigations*. Any resistance from the sycophants and their allies can and should merit contempt charges - and they can only resist for two years before they lose the "president" who can pardon them, and any subsequent charges fall outside the scope of the pardons they received. Some are cautioning against impeaching the "President" Trump. I only agree *at this time*. The orange Florida Man is at the heart of the corruption, and it would be a grave disservice against the Constitution to not *eventually* charge him in the name of the law. Every investigation you conduct, every case you build, all of these build toward the Great Case against Trump. Make sure that, as you investigate those below him, that you are also investigating the fool. When you have built enough - and you shall have less than two years to do - initiate impeachment proceedings against him. Dare Republicans to vote against the impeachments, and if they do so, tie the orange rock to the Republican Party ship and see how it tries to float in 2028. As a final note, should Democrats retake the White House and hold onto Congress in 2028, I implore you to commit the United States to join the International Court of Justice. Presidential pardons protects only against prosecution of federal crimes - and the orange false prophet and his cronies have committed plenty of international crimes against humanity to merit an extradition to the Hague.
