The Trump regime wants to cancel Head Start programs. I suppose that he considers educating under privileged and at risk children to be a "woke" idea. My sister has been a Head Start teacher for years. The students she supports in many cases have no alternative sources for early development education, nutrition, socialization and care. Their families are often low income and this valuable educational resource puts their children into a pathway for academic success. The billionaire club of a Cabinet cannot comprehend this and I'm sure considers it to be wasteful spending that would better be suited for further tax breaks for the elite, wealthy members of society. I think their vision of making America great again is to have Oliver Twist type workhouses. Please intervene. Children are the future of our country, and these students are relying on programs such as Head Start. Thank you
