I urge you to reject the nomination of Kash Patel for FBI director. His refusal to acknowledge the legitimate outcome of the 2020 presidential election raises grave concerns about his ability to lead an agency entrusted with safeguarding our democratic processes. Someone who promotes disinformation and conspiracy theories about elections cannot be trusted to uphold the FBI's vital role in combating threats to election security and protecting the rights of American voters. Patel's alignment with fringe ideologies like QAnon further disqualifies him from serving in this critical position. The FBI must remain an apolitical institution dedicated to the rule of law, something Patel has demonstrated an inability or unwillingness to uphold. Confirming him would undermine public faith in the Bureau and our electoral system. I implore you to vote against this nomination.
