I can't believe I have to write this. Our President has unilaterally attacked Venezuela to seize its oil. I commend Congress for passing a resolution to stop further immoral and illegal abuses of American military might. I urge Rep. Bergman to cross the aisle and do the same when the measure comes to the House. When we follow the money in this illegal war, itis clear that it is intended to benefit not the people of Venezuela, whose natural resources are in question, or the people of America, whose military and honor are being abused, but the interests of Big Oil and perhaps even Trump himself. The declaration that he will stash the money from Venezuelan oil in offshore bank accounts should be raising every red flag for a crime in progress - one Congress must act to stop.
