I was made aware this morning that the USDA website during shutdown has the banner "The Radical Left Democrats shutdown the government. This government website will be updated periodically during the funding lapse for mission critical functions. President Trump has made it clear he wants to keep the government open and support those who feed, fuel, and clothe the American people." I am outraged that this administration is blatantly violating the hatch act and blaming Democrats for standing up for programs that the American People count on. I ask that you put pressure on the Office of the Special Counsel to prosecute any and all reports of Hatch Act violations and that they continue to stand firm as they pushes back against the budget Bill.
