I worked 40 years and put money into both social security and Medicare. This is my retirement, I do not expect anyone holding political office to cut or withhold my retirement benefits. I don't give a damn what excuses anyone has in Congress. If it was mismanaged, not my problem it's your duty to fix it without cutting my earned benefit. There are many local government pension plans that have no problem paying better benefits because they were isolated from politicians messing with it. You, as my Representatives owe it to every American in this Country to get what we paid for and was guaranteed by the government.
