The illegal destruction of boats outside of our waters is clearly a war crime. Our Democratic representatives in Congress are well aware that only Congress can declare war, and I’m sure many of your Republican colleagues are aware of this fact as well, however they duck and run from their Constitutional responsibilities. I urge you to point out to our military leaders that the excuse of “following orders” will not protect them from the repercussions that will come when a future and sane administration takes control in Washington. Justice must be promised and delivered to military commanders and troops who engage in the extrajudicial murder of foreign nationals. Do not ignore these crimes, for they are as heinous as anything else done by this lawless administration.
