This isn't a minor gift — Umar Kremlev, a member of Putin's inner circle, rented out private islands in the Bahamas across multiple nights of wedding festivities. That money flowed through an IBA-affiliated entity in Dubai tied to the Russian state-owned energy giant Gazprom. Trump Jr. and his wife confirmed Kremlev's role themselves, calling him "our dear friend." The White House tried to dismiss it as an "afterparty," but ProPublica's reporting makes clear Kremlev funded two full nights of celebrations on the same island where the ceremony took place. A Putin ally secretly bankrolling the son of a sitting U.S. president is a national security issue, full stop. Garcia has already requested communications and financial records — those documents need to come out. Push for full compliance and public disclosure.
