I am deeply saddened by Donald Trump’s recent declaration to roll back protections for endangered animal species. With the so called “success” of bringing back “dire wolves” from extinction, Trump feels we no longer need to invest our time or money into making sure our wildlife is protected from decline, giving him an excuse to destroy national parks and wild spaces for nature. Not only are these dire wolves not the original species, but with Trump also defunding science, we cannot rely on “bringing back” extinct populations, nor do we know how their absence will effect other animal and plant populations! Please protect our wildlife populations and natural spaces from destruction! Thank you!
