Bring Home U.S. Citizens Imprisoned in Russia

To: Sen. Fischer, Rep. Flood, Pres. Biden, Sen. Ricketts

From: A constituent in Lincoln, NE

February 21

I am writing today to ask that you do anything in your power to help get two U.S. citizens released from Russian prisons: Ksenia Karelina, a ballerina with dual U.S.-Russian citizenship, was arrested for donating $51.80 to a New York charity supporting Ukraine, according to the L.A. Times. She faces a life sentence for treason. Evan Gershkovich is a Wall Street Journal reporter who has been held in Lefortovo prison for almost a year on “spying” charges. These Americans must be released, please do everything you can. Thank you.
