I don't say this lightly, but it's time to call for Chuck Schumer to resign. I saw his press junket and if you guys don't understand that the CRISIS IS HERE RIGHT NOW, you are not fit to govern. There are no good Republicans in office right now, no matter what he hears off the record. For whatever their reasons that sound good to him off the record, they are actively engaging in destroying this country. They are SELLING PEOPLE INTO SLAVERY and defying court orders to do so RIGHT NOW. They are destroying the economy RIGHT NOW. PEOPLE ARE DYING RIGHT NOW due to lack of aid. They are destroying cancer research RIGHT NOW. They are destroying free speech and targeting political opposition RIGHT NOW. Making up mythical bright lines (ie when he defies the SCOTUS who made him king) to say that's when somebody will do something but never defining what that is, is not leadership. Schumer pumping his arms and saying you guys will "fight hard" *at the right time* is not leadership. Saying you'll win elections 2 years from now because Republicans (with whom he currently has a 90% approval rate with) will turn against him is delusional and ignores the harm along the way. Sadly, it's time for him to go and let somebody who understands the moment we are in RIGHT NOW. This is not an election issue--this is me saying that EVERY DEMOCRAT in office was already elected KNOWING that this administration was an existential threat to our country and that he was running on doing exactly what he is doing--that was the whole pitch to get elected, so I'm begging you to act like it and meet the moment so that we can save whatever is left of our country. I bear Chuck Schumer no ill will, but please do what is best for the country and demand that somebody else take over. Thank you
