Has Congress lost its collective mind? Following Trump’s speech in Davos, why isn’t every one of you standing on the steps of the capital demanding an end to this madness. Our president is clearly cognitively compromised and his ridiculous words are putting the national security and economic health of this country in jeopardy. It’s bad enough that ICE has now been funded to continue its terror campaign for years to come. But now you stay silent in the wake of an international catastrophe that has already shifted the balance of power and our alliances over this man’s addled belief that he should “own” Greenland? Surely you entered politics for reasons other than your own self-preservation. Where is your bravery? Where is your commitment to this country and everything it has embodied for the past 80 years? Why can’t I hear you screaming?
