We know there are actions you could be taking every day to stop or at least slow down this corrupt administration. Here are some in case you’ve forgotten. 1) QUORUM CALLS: Demand proof that enough members are present (218). Forces delays and requires the majority to round up their members. Can be called repeatedly. 2/ ROLL CALL VOTES: Instead of voice votes, demand recorded votes. Makes Republicans go ON RECORD for unpopular positions. Every. Single. Time. Forces them to own their votes publicly. 3/ POINTS OF ORDER: Challenge rule violations, procedural errors, germaneness of amendments. Each one requires the chair to rule, creates delay, and can expose majority overreach. 4/ MOTION TO TABLE: When Republicans offer amendments or motions, move to table them. Forces votes, burns floor time, creates records of what they're trying to do. 5/ DEMAND READING OF BILLS: Rarely used, but powerful. Require bills to be read aloud ir full. On a 1,000-page bill? That's hours or days of delay. The minority can't block, but they CAN make it painful: Request extensive hearings on controversial provisions. Demand testimony from experts who'll expose problems. Offer dozens of amendments forcing votes and debate. Use procedural appeals to delay markups. Create public records of what's really in bills. "One lawmaker deeply involved in the process told Axios that, no matter how many votes Republicans lose, there are almost certainly enough Democratic votes to make up for it. The base "may" get upset about the vote initially but "that'll go away," one lawmaker told Axios" The jig is up. We know. We knew before this, but this quote cements it. WE KNOW. Remove Schumer and Jeffries as leadership. Not only do they have zero leadership skills, they even suck at pretending to care about the citizens of this country. Do it today. NOW. Start voting for what your constituents actually want. We are supposed to be represented by YOU. Here is what we want, in a simple format even dummies can understand. - Abolish ICE - Universal Healthcare - No aid to Israel (Free Palestine) - Support Ukraine - Prosecute EVERYONE in the Epstein files - Plug the holes in our constitution - Raise federal minimum wage - Protect ALL LGBTQIA+ people - Address affordability This is the absolute minimum of what your constituents want. Are you having trouble understanding this, or are you complicit? Do you get it that the people will not stand for this? We have had enough. We KNOW. We know your stupid games and won't be toyed with any longer. Start acting NOW or you will be fired. Choose your legacy wisely.
