I’m furious that Elon Musk, an unelected billionaire with no experience in government, is influencing legislation and interfering in budget negotiations. Because of him Congress just passed a funding package with no money for kids’ cancer research, women’s health funding, or SNAP recipients. It is deeply disappointing to see members of Congress act like this is normal. It isn’t. As my representative I expect you to make clear that Elon Musk has no say in how laws get passed. I implore you - do not be influenced or bullied by unelected oligarchs. You were elected to represent your constituents, not to roll over for pay-to-play billionaires.
