I am writing to you today to call upon you to resist Donald Trump's illegitimate effort to take over the US Postal Service. The Postal Service Act of 1792 was passed by Congress and signed by George Washington and it clearly puts the Post Office in Congress's control. It is unpatriotic to undo the Founding Fathers' work. And it imperils our right to vote by mail. Trump must be stopped and the Post Office must be protected.
