In fact I want staffing restored and added to Social Security to improve customer service. They also need to reopen Social Security offices that have been closed. Social Security needs to be protected and strengthened for beneficiaries and DOGE needs to be removed. Former employees should sue to get their jobs back. Any changes to Social Security must be approved by Congress, not under the control of DOGE or President Trump, who clearly is mentally diminished. Changing Social Security’s COBOL computer system to an updated system must be done carefully with great care to avoid any service interruption.
