Speaker Johnson is unethically refusing to swear in the newest member of Congress, Representative-elect Adrlita Grijalva. Representative Grijalva decisively won her special election on September 23. The Republicans didn’t shut the government down until October 1. That was plenty of time for the new representative to be sworn in. Of course, everyone knows why Speaker Johnson refuses to swear her in: she will sign Discharge Petition No. 9, and Speaker Johnson doesn’t want to release the Epstein files. And you are helping Speaker Johnson protect those wealthy pedophiles. It’s not too late to do the right thing, but it soon will be. Tick. Tock.
