I understand that the Trump administration will only be paying out 50% of SNAP funds for the month of November. This is insane. The people who rely on this money cannot survive on half. Every penny is desperately needed! Also, Americans are not stupid—we can see that Republicans are finding plenty of money for Argentina, for tax cuts for the wealthy, for a Great Gatsby party, but only a pittance for the neediest among us? It is sickening. The government has the money to fund SNAP and it needs to do so fully now.
