To the Leadership of the Democratic Party: I am writing to state clearly that I will not be contributing any of my time or financial support to the party until it takes serious steps to clean its own house. The current direction and leadership are unacceptable. It is time for Chuck Schumer to step down, as his prioritization of Israel is no longer acceptable. Furthermore, Hakeem Jeffries must cease backroom deals, and both need to stop populating congressional groups with people who hold such Israel first positions. Finally, Ken Martin has shown himself to be completely incompetent in providing real leadership or accountability. You are running out of time before the midterms, and only immediate, genuine self-reflection and a commitment to leadership transitions can prevent a disastrous outcome.
