First, I’m glad that the Senate just blocked a FISA re-authorization because of Bill Pulte, but I want them to go farther. Please ask the Senator to continue to vote against any re-authorization until Bill Pulte has been removed from his post and real privacy protections have been added. Congress needs to close the data broker loophole and end warrantless searches so that the lawless and dangerous folks in the Trump administration can’t surveil us. Data privacy is incredibly important to me—I’ll be watching this vote closely.
Also I want to thank the Senator for voting against Trump’s immigration bill. I am profoundly disappointed that it passed but grateful that the Senator voted the right way.
