As a constituent and scientist, I urge you to prioritize robust funding for federal science agencies in the FY25 appropriations process. Proposed budget cuts threaten significant programs, with potential reductions up to 11% for key agencies such as NOAA, NASA, and NSF. This includes a severe 15% cut to NSF's Office of STEM Education and a 37% reduction to NASA's Office of STEM Education. Such cuts jeopardize our national competitiveness in STEM and our ability to recover from educational setbacks caused by the pandemic.
