Whenever unpopular bills come up, I notice that there is a disturbing tendency to either rush a vote without vigorous debate or to hold votes when most people are asleep. As a constituent, I want you to know that your behavior regarding the bills I am most concerned about will determine my vote in the midterms. Your seats are not as safe as you believe. Many do not like censorship or the trampling of our basic rights. And KOSA and the other bills will have a disastrous impact that will last for generations. Now is not the time to vote for bills that produce positive headlines while impacting everyone, including the victims these bills claim to protect. Please urge your fellow Senator and House Committee members to vote against all of these bills.
