Fund the SEPTA budget gap!

I am a Pennsylvania resident and am writing to strongly urge you to make public transit a top priority in the next few months and help eliminate the $240 million shortfall SEPTA is facing beginning July 1 — a gap that almost certainly means drastic cuts to bus and rail service.
Public transit is a critical need for Philadelphia, and forcing an already starved system to make additional cuts would be devastating. Please step up and make sure SEPTA gets the money it needs to continue serving my city - especially the neighborhoods served by the Chestnut Hill West Regional Rail train line.
