This election definitively showed that our country wants change. It is time for a new generation of leadership in Washington. I write to you to strongly urge you to dig deep and pull from the talents and leadership of generation X, millennials and Gen Z when electing leadership in Washington for the Democratic Party. The old guard must go, and it is time for Chuck Schumer to step aside for the new and highly capable leadership that is ready to bring the Democratic Party and our country forward, meet the moment, and reflect the will of the electorate. This midterm provided the groundwork of fresh faces, ideas, and people to serve our country. Chuck Schumer is not the man for the job. I strongly urge the party to not squander this momentous opportunity.
