I agree that we must take immediate action to protect America’s at-risk and endangered wildlife. The alarming loss of biodiversity is not just a threat to species themselves, but to the communities and economies that depend on them. The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act (RAWA) could generate as many as 33,600 direct jobs every year in fields ranging from construction to forestry, as well as improve the country’s outdoor recreation economy. I’m adding my voice to support passing RAWA, a bill that will boost the critically underfunded state and local fish and wildlife agencies before more species are at risk of extinction.
