Today, yet another US Citizen was murdered in the street before our eyes by ICE, and the blood is on your hands. There is an opportunity for justice, you can vote NO on the funding bill, take back Congress’s authority over the purse. It is only under your authority that funding should be designated, and your job is to distribute it according to the will of the people. It cannot be said strongly enough: The People DO NOT Want This. We do not want our tax dollars funding an under-trained group of trigger-happy men to terrorize our neighborhoods. WE DO NOT WANT THIS. Do your job, or face a reckoning at the ballot box. We the People are in charge, and we demand our constitutional rights: - right to speak and assemble - right to bear arms - right to safety - right to have a say in our government Vote with us in mind, and we will remember that you did. Or go down in history as being complicit in the destruction of all that has made this country great, the people and our trust in each other.
