I am writing to urge you to take immediate action in holding those in power accountable for the harm they have caused to the people of this country. We can no longer stand by while individuals like Elon Musk and Donald Trump are allowed to wield immense influence that undermines democracy, public safety, and the well-being of millions of Americans. Elon Musk, with his unchecked wealth and power, has used his influence to enrich himself at the expense of workers, the environment, and the public interest. His reckless behavior, from labor violations to his disregard for the consequences of his corporate actions, must not go unchallenged. Similarly, Donald Trump’s actions as a public figure and former president have resulted in significant harm to our nation. His divisive rhetoric, encouragement of violence, and undermining of democratic institutions have created deep divisions that continue to affect our communities. The government must take accountability for the systemic issues that allowed him to flourish, and we must ensure that those who have acted in bad faith are held responsible. Our government has failed in many respects, allowing powerful individuals to dictate the lives of everyday citizens while disregarding the needs and rights of vulnerable populations. We are witnessing the erosion of civil rights, economic injustice, and environmental degradation, all of which are exacerbated by the lack of accountability for those in positions of power. I demand that you take action to: Investigate and hold accountable any individuals, including Elon Musk and Donald Trump, whose actions have harmed the public interest and undermined democracy. Ensure that those responsible for perpetuating systemic harm, including corporate greed and political corruption, face appropriate legal and political consequences. Prioritize policies that protect workers, the environment, and the basic rights of all Americans, rather than catering to the interests of the wealthy few. Restore trust in our government by demanding transparency, justice, and accountability from all public officials. The time for complacency is over. We must act now to protect our democracy, our rights, and our future. I look forward to seeing bold, decisive action from you on this matter.
