This executive order is a blatant power grab that obliterates the constitutional separation of powers and system of checks and balances. Subjecting independent agencies to direct White House meddling and political retaliation eviscerates their independence and perverts the intent of insulating their decision-making from partisan corruption. This brazen attempt to centralize unchecked authority under the president is an authoritarian assault on democratic governance and rule of law. It endangers public institutions' ability to uphold regulations and execute laws impartially in service of the national interest rather than the whims of a power-hungry administration. This audacious executive overreach is profoundly undemocratic and anti-constitutional. It must be vehemently condemned and resisted to preserve the founding principles of limited government and accountability.
