I am writing my Congressional Representatives regarding a disturbing video of Senator Alex Padilla (D, California) being assaulted and forcibly removed from a press conference being given by Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem by her security team. The men assaulting Senator Padilla should be arrested immediately. They had no right to lay hands on him or remove him from the premises. What are you able to do to hold these men accountable for their actions? The Senator did not represent a threat to the secretary. He is doing his job. He is supposed to ask questions and demand answers for his constituents. As my Congressional Representatives, I want to know you stand with the people of the United States and our rights to have our Congressional Representatives question and stand up to the President's authoritarian regime that is using our military to forcibly occupy parts of California and hurting non-violent protesters. It is time to impeach Donald Trump. Be loud! Make your voices heard! Do not sit quietly and allow this to happen.
