I am writing to demand that you oppose any legislation that further integrates the United States military, intelligence apparatus, or defense industry with that of Israel.
Your duty is to the Constitution and the American people. It is not to a foreign government, regardless of who that government may be. Any elected official who supports surrendering American independence, strategic autonomy, or military decision-making authority to the interests of another nation is betraying the trust of their constituents.
If you support measures that deepen military integration with Israel at the expense of American sovereignty, then I will consider that an act of political betrayal. Representatives who place the interests of a foreign state above those of the United States deserve to be voted out of office and remembered as having failed the people they were elected to serve.
America's military exists to defend America. American taxpayers fund it. American citizens fight and die in it. No foreign government should receive special influence over its operations, priorities, technology, or future direction.
I expect a clear public commitment from you opposing any legislation that moves the United States toward military integration with Israel or any other foreign nation.
The American people deserve representatives, not proxies.
