President Biden recently pardoned his son because of what he saw as injustice. There are thousands of individuals who have been similarly robbed of justice. If President Biden truly cares about injustice, he needs to pardon as many individuals as possible, including preemptive pardons for likely targets of Donald Trump. To borrow from Biden’s own words, there is “no sense” in delaying these actions. Currently, it appears as if Joe Biden only cares about the threat of Donald Trump when it threatens his persona re-election. It appears that he only cares about injustice when it targets his family. He has a few weeks to prove that his words were not hollow and he truly cares about all Americans. He can start with Leonard Peltier and go from there. As a representative, you have the power to push him on these issues. And as a constituent, I will be watching very closely. Joe Biden broke promise after promise during his presidency. The least he can do is to do some good on the way out.
