I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to request your support in ensuring the continuation of Mission.io’s SBIR Phase II contract (#91990024C0023), awarded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences to InfiniD Learning Inc. (DBA Mission.io).
Mission.io, a Utah-based education technology company, has been making significant strides in improving STEM and literacy education through its interactive, Mission-based learning experiences. The federal funding supporting this project is crucial as it allows the company to expand its efforts and address the critical need for better reading and writing instruction in classrooms across Texas and nationwide.
Unfortunately, despite the project being only halfway completed, there is a risk that the contract may be prematurely terminated. Such an action would not only waste taxpayer funds but also disrupt valuable education research and innovation that is directly benefiting students and educators. Mission.io has already demonstrated its effectiveness as a cost-efficient tool that supports national and state education standards, and the project is on track to achieve significant commercial success, further contributing to the growth of small businesses and the advancement of U.S. education technology.
I respectfully urge you to advocate for the continuation of this important contract to ensure that Mission.io’s work can be completed and made widely available to schools. Your support in preserving this initiative will help further innovation in education and provide lasting benefits to students throughout our state.
Thank you for your time and consideration, as well as for your continued support of small businesses, educational innovation, and our students.
