Im a practicing family physician in Bangor, and I’m horrified that the House has passed a new budget that will strip Medicaid for millions of Americans. I can immediately see that this will have damaging effects on my patients and the community in general. Hospitals will close due to the lack of funding if this happens. I care deeply about my patients, and while I stand to gain a lot of money in the proposed tax cuts, the welfare of my patients is worth more than any refund I could get. Please, remove the Medicaid cuts from the proposed budget bill. Thank you.
