Rep. Ogles Your recent remarks about Muslim Americans were not only ignorant, they were also bigoted, and I will not pretend otherwise. You are an elected representative of all your constituents, not a self-appointed judge of who belongs in this country. Since you claim to represent a Christian nation, perhaps revisit your own scripture: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." — Matthew 7:1 "Love your neighbor as yourself." — Mark 12:31 "The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself." — Leviticus 19:34 You have failed that standard completely. I am disgusted, not just by what you said, but by the fact that you hold a position of public trust while saying it. You have proven, in your own words, that you are unfit to represent the diverse Americans of this district. I expect a public apology, and I will be working actively to ensure you are held accountable at the ballot box.
