Election Integrity in Michigan

To: Rep. Dingell, Sen. Slotkin, Sen. Peters

From: A constituent in Saline, MI

June 15

I’m writing today to express concern about election integrity and what is becoming more widely shared information fueling doubts about the integrity of the 2024 election. There seem to be legitimate concerns that people need to have taken seriously by the appropriate authorities. Without a serious inquiry and transparency, these doubts will continue and impact people’s faith in democracy and our fundamental duty as citizens to vote in elections. As representatives of the state of Michigan, I’m requesting that you support a formal inquiry be made into the security of the 2024 election and of course, future elections. The concerns being shared include ES&S voting machines and tabulators being updated by Pro V&V months before the election without transparency and typical protocols being followed. Concerns also include statistical anomalies, such as unusual voter drop off at the top of the ticket and unusual changes to data after machines reach 400 votes counted. Rockland County, NY is finally looking into the statistical anomalies in their area, and I’d like Michigan to do the same. Perhaps these isssues can be easily explained…and if that’s the case, I’d like to hear from the experts that look specifically at our election and have them explain it to Michiganders so we can have full confidence in our elections going forward.
