Co-sponsor the Anti-Corruption Bureau Creation Act, introduced by Senators Padilla and Schumer on July 30, 2026. Public trust in government is collapsing, and this bill is one of the most serious legislative responses to executive corruption in decades. It creates an independent federal agency with a self-funded budget, a Senate-confirmed board insulated from presidential interference, and — critically — the right for private citizens and state attorneys general to sue to recover money obtained through corruption.
The numbers here are not abstract. Senator Padilla cited $2 billion flowing to Trump since he returned to office, $4 billion combined for his family, a $400 million jet from the Qatari government, and 21,000 stock trades in a single year. The Federal Election Commission has been unable to function for nearly a year. These are not allegations of a broken system — they are symptoms of one. This bill consolidates the FEC, the Office of Government Ethics, and the Office of Special Counsel under one accountable roof and gives ordinary Americans a legal tool to fight back. Co-sponsor it.
