Oppose the KOSA package!

To: Sen. Ossoff, Sen. Warnock, Rep. Carter

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

November 30

Next week, there will be a hearing on bills that would very well make things easier for predators, cybercriminals, data brokers, traffickers, abusers and scammers. I'm calling on you to oppose KOSA, the SCREEN Act, the GAMING act, the Sammy Act, the RESET Act, the App Store Accountability Act, Parents Over Platforms Act, the Safe Social Media Act, Promoting A Safe Internet for Minors Act, and many more. My main concerns are privacy rights, freedom of expression and speech, and the right to not be subjected to invasive, ineffective, and censorious methods of identification and content moderation. Mandatory age verification has resulted in more harm than good, and even proponents of laws like these admitted that the main goal isn't protection. Why are failing measures being put out for consideration? If you vote for these bills, I will not support any campaigns you promote, and I and my community will not support you. Thank you.
