It is outrageous that Dick Durbin sided with Republicans and voted yes on their shameful stopgap spending bill. His betrayal of Democratic values to keep the corrupt Trump administration and their billionaire donors fully funded shows a disturbing lack of principles. Durbin has lost my trust and must be held accountable for aligning himself with bigots, corporate greed, and crony capitalism over the needs of working families. I am livid that a supposed progressive like Durbin would prop up the racist, destructive policies of this regime. His reckless, self-serving decision will undoubtedly hurt vulnerable communities. Durbin needs to explain himself and make amends for this unforgivable dereliction of duty.
