I write to you as a deeply concerned constituent and a committed advocate for human rights. I am pleading with you to take immediate action to end all U.S. military aid to Israel for as long as its government continues to carry out the mass killing of innocent civilians in Gaza, including thousands of children. According to verified reports from the United Nations, over 30,000 Palestinians—many of them women and children—have been killed since October 2023. Hospitals have been bombed, aid convoys attacked, journalists targeted, and entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble. This level of civilian harm is not collateral damage—it is systemic devastation. The United States is the largest financial and military supporter of Israel. Every bomb dropped with American support implicates us. Continued aid, without conditions or accountability, makes our country complicit in what many legal scholars, including UN experts, have warned may amount to crimes against humanity or even genocide. Aid should never be unconditional. It is morally indefensible and strategically reckless to provide billions of taxpayer dollars to a government actively violating international humanitarian law. I urge you in the strongest terms: Suspend all military and security aid to Israel until the indiscriminate killing of Palestinian civilians ceases, a permanent ceasefire is secured, and humanitarian access is fully restored. You have the power—and the responsibility—to ensure that our foreign policy reflects our values. History will remember where each of you stood during this atrocity. I implore you to be on the side of justice and humanity.
